The Tuft & Needle Mint mattress is medium-firm in feel, but softer than the Tuft & Needle Original. The Mint Mattress is optimised for side-sleepers and is slightly more plush for added pressure relief.

The Emma Original mattress is considered a medium-firm mattress. Rated a 5/10 on the firmness scale. It contours your body perfectly alleviating pressure points, as well as distributing your weight evenly. It adapts perfectly to your body shape while your spine stays aligned regardless of whether you are a side sleeper, back sleeper, or stomach sleeper.

The Tuft & Needle Mint is a 3-layer mattress:

• 3" T&N Adaptive foam
• 2" T&N Adaptive foam with ceramic gel beads
• 6.5" polyurethane base foam.

The Emma Original Mattress has three foam layers plus a reinforced perimeter, the layers are:

• Point Elastic AIRGOCELL® Memory Foam

• Emma HRX Supreme® Foam.

The top layer of the Mint is softer than that of the T&N Original, but with a firmer bottom layer for added edge support. This added third layer, the Mint layer, is designed to reduce motion transfer and provide additional pressure relief and softness. The Mint also has a middle transitional layer to keep you from "bottoming out".

HALO® Memory Foam is both ergonomic and motion isolating. The 3 zones are designed to provide both spinal alignment and the pressure-relieving support for individual body zones, which include the shoulders, back, and hips. The High Resiliency Extra (HRX) foam layer is engineered to last for years, holding firm and preventing sag. Emma UltraDry ® Original Cover
A temperature-regulating breathable cover made from 99% polyester and 1% elastane. The plush cover is moisture-wicking, easy to remove, and washable. The side fabric is 100% polyester and the bottom fabric is 87% polyester and 13% polypropylene.
